Job summary

Walmart Information Systems Division is seeking a Systems Administrator, Software, to support application performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate on code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and participate in change management while delivering reliable software systems that align with business needs.

The team ensures continuous operation of critical business applications across Pharmacies, Vision Centers, Auto Care, Wireless Kiosks, and HR apps, building dashboards

• Support Information Systems applications by participating in code reviews, monitoring alerts, and ensuring application performance and reliability.

About the team:
The Command and Control Center Team ensures continuous operation of critical business applications, maintaining system availability and reliability for customers and associates. As part of the Retail Services Team, members support essential systems across Pharmacies, Vision Centers, Auto Care, Wireless Kiosks, and HR applications. The team promptly addresses system outages, critical incidents, and escalations through close collaboration with operations and engineering groups. Strong technical expertise in application architecture is applied to design monitoring dashboards and alerts, enhancing the ability to detect and resolve issues efficiently while supporting Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and ethical standards.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
