Job summary

Walmart in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage freight deliveries, process and scan freight, unload trailers with pallet jacks or power equipment, and maintain accurate records in the receiving area.

You will organize the work space, label items, and communicate with customers, suppliers, and coworkers. Eligible for benefits including health, retirement plans, PTO, and the Live Better U education program.

Responsibilities

• Manage freight deliveries: process, count, separate, and scan freight; track through computer software to identify freight.
• Unload freight from trailers manually or with power equipment; maintain records and logs.
• Organize the receiving area: stack and move pallets using pallet jacks or power equipment; maintain a safe area.
• Check trailer and pallet integrity for leaks, pest infestation, or damage; correct issues.
• Apply labels to freight/pallets and ensure correct location on shelves and in the receiving area.
• Provide basic maintenance to receiving equipment (cleaning, changing labels and ribbons).
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and associates verbally or in writing.

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.60 - $26.10* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
