Walmart is seeking a dedicated management professional to oversee operations in Franklin, LA. The role involves supervising associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, driving financial performance, and fostering a culture of diversity and belonging. Ideal candidates will have strong management experience and a commitment to community engagement.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly Associates in the Facility by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, and ensuring diversity awareness.
Upholds the Company’s Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies and procedures, and providing resolutions, including proactive engagement in Associate comments and concerns in their work areas.
Ensures compliance with Company policies and procedures by holding hourly Associates and managers accountable, analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance standards, overseeing safety and operational reviews, developing action plans to address deficiencies, and guiding the execution of Company programs and strategic initiatives.
Initiates and participates in community outreach programs, encouraging and supporting Associates and managers in community service, establishing relationships with key community groups, representing the Company, and promoting Company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts to enhance community presence.
Drives the financial performance of the Facility by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, developing corrective plans, overseeing budgets, and analyzing economic trends and community needs for forecasting.
Models excellent customer service by guiding and directing the management team on customer service techniques, ensuring issues are resolved within standards, and maintaining effective communication about operations, merchandising, and company direction.
Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, creates a culture of belonging, and fosters opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, extensive management experience including financial oversight, supervising 50+ associates, and employment decision responsibilities.
