Position Summary...

This role involves leading and developing teams by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. It includes communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The position also requires introducing and leading change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance, and implementing business solutions. Additionally, it involves modeling exceptional customer service standards, managing customer service initiatives, developing action plans to improve deficiencies, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The role drives financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, monitoring inventory flow, and developing strategies to meet sales and profit goals. It includes supervising and developing hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing their contributions. The position requires building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting a culture of belonging and continuous learning. It also involves attracting, retaining, empowering, and developing talent, acting with integrity, serving customers, and striving for excellence through continuous improvement and embracing technology. The annual salary range is $65,000 to $80,000 plus potential additional compensation based on location and performance.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must complete all required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
