What you'll do... The Staff, Technical Program Manager leads the planning and execution of multiple medium to high-complexity technology programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and shifting priorities. This role involves managing cross-functional dependencies, driving end-to-end delivery of scalable system solutions, and fostering operational excellence through effective risk management and stakeholder engagement. The position requires strong expertise in program management, technical design, and communication to deliver impactful technology initiatives while continuously improving processes and tools to support business goals and innovation within a dynamic environment.

We lead strategy, portfolio management, and program delivery across products that improve productivity, collaboration, campus experiences, data and AI foundations, and technology operations. By aligning technology investments with business priorities, we reduce daily work friction and drive measurable outcomes. The team applies strong program and stakeholder management, decision-making, communication, and technical design expertise to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement of complex initiatives supporting Walmart's operational goals.

  • Excellent communication capabilities to convey complex technical and business information clearly and concisely to varied audiences.
  • Technical knowledge of system design, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and software lifecycle processes to support end-to-end technology solutions.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to identify issues, propose alternatives, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience in decision-making and negotiation to prioritize deliverables and manage dependencies effectively.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
  • Option 2: 7 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications...

Certification in Project Management., Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 3 years’ experience in product design., We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
