Position Summary
Provides pharmaceutical care to customers including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies it to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
- Builds relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to identify business needs and carry out necessary processes and practices, monitoring progress and results.
- Models and enforces compliant customer service approaches, ensuring customer needs, complaints and issues are resolved within company guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with company and legal mandates, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety, operational and quality assurance reviews, and developing action plans.
- Provides comprehensive patient care by processing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and other programs in compliance with pharmacy statutes and regulations.
- Promotes a culture of patient care safety and accuracy, communicating expectations, ensuring SOP compliance, and implementing corrective action plans.
- Executes compliance initiatives, monitors compliance execution by associates, and ensures adherence to billing procedures and HIPAA.
- Works as a team, builds strong relationships, mentors others, and contributes to continuous improvement.
- Acts with integrity, upholding highest standards of ethics and compliance, and supports Walmart’s regenerative company goals.
- Delivers results while putting the customer first, making decisions based on reliable information and balancing priorities.
- Displays curiosity, learns, and drives continuous improvements using new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.

Salary
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00 – $172,000.00 for a 40‑hour schedule, prorated for part‑time schedules. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
