Job description

Position Summary

The Walmart Dairy Plant in Fort Wayne, IN, is one of the largest Milk Processing Plants in the United States. We provide our customers with the freshest, high-quality milk at everyday low prices for families. We are seeking to hire an experienced SPOC Operator to assist in monitoring and reporting warehouse inventory levels and troubleshooting automation.

Job Duties
  • Develop and interpret material flow control system reports to maintain the system and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor color-coded displays and correct logic errors in the material flow control system.
  • Process or handle products, realigning pallets and stabilizing loads on material handling systems such as conveyors, cranes, shuttle cars, monorail carts, according to procedures.
  • Identify errors like jams via the color-coded display and direct appropriate resources to address them.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying them in business practices.
  • Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners, and adapting to change and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

Optional qualifications include experience in computer science, management information systems, or monitoring and correcting errors on automated or semi-automated equipment using computer programs or physical interaction.
