Position Summary

What you'll do...

Performs basic to intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements following company guidelines on all Walmart equipment, such as trailers, tractors, yard trucks, shop equipment, and service vehicles. Responsibilities include creating and processing work orders, assessing maintenance and repair needs, identifying parts and solutions, conducting repairs, and documenting work according to procedures. Also, receives fuel drops, conducts fuel sampling, and ensures safety compliance.

Maintains a respectful work environment by embracing differences, building trust, communicating effectively, and mentoring others. Acts with integrity by upholding high standards of ethics and supporting Walmart's culture. Focuses on serving customers and members by delivering results and making informed decisions that consider both short-term and long-term impacts. Minimum Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver's license. Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25. Vehicle inspection qualified as defined in the FMCSA regulations, Section 396.19.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Office certification and DOT Transportation certification are preferred but not required.
