As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repairs within the Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Type I / Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders, support Stores and Store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety and environmental policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and move ladders as needed.

Wage Range & Additional Compensation:

The hourly wage range is $29.00-$56.00. Actual pay depends on location, experience, and other factors. Premium pay may apply in specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Vocational or Technical HVAC / R certification with 5 years’ experience, or 7 years’ experience in related fields.
• Passing score on Ramsey Technician Level 3 HVAC / R test.
• 6 months’ experience installing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC / R equipment.
• Evidence of vaccination or approved exemption, as per applicable law.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC / R program.
• Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Mechanical license in the job location.
