Position Summary

What you'll do

As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repairs within the Walmart facilities' refrigeration and HVAC equipment team, utilizing your commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

• Maintain and repair Walmart’s refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools.
• Utilize work order management system to support stores and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and work on ladders frequently.

Compensation and Benefits
