Base pay range

$26.00/hr - $51.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding its workforce and is actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, bring your skills to our fast-paced environment. Your role will support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment in Walmart facilities, utilizing your technical skills and tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18+ years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

• Maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment using various tools
• Use work order system to document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training and ensure OSHA and EPA compliance
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage range is $26.00-$51.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.

Additional Qualifications

Option 1: 10 years HVAC/refrigeration experience. Option 2: 8 years plus AAS in HVAC/R. Preferred: 2-year technical/vocational program, excellent driving record, experience with Glycol and C02 systems.
