What you'll do...

Senior Product Manager - Generative AI

What you'll do :

As part of Walmart Connect's Product team, you'll build industry-defining ad platforms at scale that enable Walmart suppliers and sellers to reach shoppers with relevant ads and high-performing campaigns while helping shoppers discover products to enhance their shopping journey.

We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to reimagine how we empower advertisers and partners with a best-in-class Generative AI platform that can drive the creation and optimization of advertisements at scale.

Generative AI is critical to the success of Walmart Connect's Ad Platform. The person in this role will lead efforts to develop new AI models, improve existing ones, and enhance the user experience for our partners and advertisers.

You'll make an impact by :

1. Driving the development of AI models from requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs, and launch efforts.
2. Developing and enhancing AI capabilities by aligning business and technical needs, analyzing customer and product data, turning insights into initiatives, and managing risks.
3. Building relationships with stakeholders by driving priorities aligned with business goals, communicating, and gaining buy-in from leadership.
4. Conducting industry and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and new opportunities in advertising and AI technologies.
5. Using domain expertise and best practices to improve user experience for partners and advertisers.
6. Conducting customer research to define partner segments and inform the AI product roadmap.
7. Partnering with internal teams to create AI-driven solutions that benefit shoppers, partners, and clients.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in AI Product Management.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Product Management.
• Passionate about solving complex problems.
• Strong business judgment, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence.
• Experience with agile methodologies and a test-and-learn mentality.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in building AI-driven advertising solutions at scale.
• Experience in AdTech / MarTech, especially Sponsored Products/Search.
• Knowledge of AI models, platforms, and user experience design.
• Experience developing products for external partners.
• Product strategy experience involving cross-functional stakeholders.
• MBA is a plus.
