Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management, and operate and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring quality standards, and managing merchandise properly. Assist members with purchasing decisions, proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high service standards, and executing tasks with high quality. Support and train team members, recognize contributions, and foster a positive environment.
- Comply with Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Use the Open Door Policy for communication, and implement action plans accordingly.
- Complete Work Effectively: Prioritize tasks using policies and resources, collaborate with team and partners, communicate progress, and adapt to change and feedback.

Compensation
The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
