Position Summary...
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and manage inventory, equipment, and sanitation.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for making immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring product quality, minimizing waste, securing fragile merchandise, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and proper packaging and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, training others, and recognizing contributions.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics. Complete work assignments efficiently, collaborate with managers and colleagues, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in meat processing area is preferred but not required.
