$20.00/hr - $27.00/hr

Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills, provide customer service, be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of different meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate and sanitize equipment.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and quality, and encourage others to use these tools.
4. Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a clean work area, ensure quality standards, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, value member experience, model high-quality service, interact with associates to understand and address roadblocks, and assist in training.
6. Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance, support Walmart values, be accountable, and support sustainability initiatives.
7. Serve our Customers and Members: Deliver results with a customer-first approach, make informed decisions, and consider the impact on the team and stakeholders.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $27.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location, with possible additional premiums based on specific circumstances.
