Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates. Utilize handheld technology for decision-making related to production, training, and quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results through operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring product quality, reducing waste, securing fragile merchandise, assisting members with purchases, and proper packaging and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by providing high-quality service and products, and model best practices. Assist in training associates and understanding roadblocks they face.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics in all actions, using the open-door policy and implementing related action plans.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable locally.

Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

6 months’ experience in a fresh production department. Must be 18 or older. Must successfully complete all required training and assessments within the designated timeframe.
