Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for excellent customer service; be flexible to business needs; track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations; process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards; operate and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to enhance sales, shopping experience, and associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and quality; adapt to and promote new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results with operational excellence, profitability planning, maintaining high-quality standards, minimizing waste, securing fragile merchandise, assisting members with purchases, and proper packaging and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, model high-quality service and products, interact with associates to address roadblocks, and assist in training.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in business practices.
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek continuous improvement; and adapt to change.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months’ experience in a fresh production department. Must be 18+ years old. Must complete all required training and assessments successfully.
