Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, such as cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping, while ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, always keeping the member in mind. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring product quality, eliminating waste, securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, executing tasks at the highest standard, interacting with associates to address roadblocks, and assisting in training.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete work assignments effectively, collaborate with managers and colleagues, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential additional premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in a fresh production department
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications include experience in meat processing areas or related fields, but none are required.
