Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate others on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Provide meat products by processing according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions, training, and ensuring product quality. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to do the same.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, stored, and that waste is minimized. Assist members with purchasing decisions.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and training others. Address roadblocks and support team development.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in daily operations.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers and colleagues, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
- Ability to successfully complete required trainings and assessments.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications related to the meat processing area, if applicable.
