Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping). Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and quality, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure product quality, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink items, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, and training associates to perform their duties effectively.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these principles in business practices.
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and other partners, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding minimum wage laws. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, location, or work performed.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months’ experience in a fresh production department. Must be 18 or older. Must complete all required trainings and assessments within designated timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications include experience in meat processing or related fields.
