Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Technology Operations in Sunnyvale to lead critical Search, Personalization, and Walmart Connect initiatives. You will drive execution across Product, Engineering, and Data Science to optimize content retrieval, ranking, and ad revenue.

Sitting within the eCommerce business organization, this role partners with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to advance content retrieval and algorithmic ranking. Combining cross-functional coordination with hands-on data analysis, the Senior Manager helps operationalize dynamic business dials that balance competing levers in real time. Grounded in data, the Senior Manager facilitates cross-functional alignment and drives initiatives that connect technical execution with commercial impact.

Our team integrates commercial strategy with advanced technology to enhance customer satisfaction and advertising revenue across Walmart Search, P13N, and Walmart Connect. Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and data science teams, we lead cross-functional initiatives to improve personalized content retrieval and algorithmic ranking. We develop dynamic business controls balancing customer intent, organic relevance, and monetization in real time. This data-driven approach delivers an intuitive discovery experience for millions of shoppers while optimizing multiple business levers. • Strong hands-on data proficiency, analyzing performance datasets to evaluate trade-offs and guide day-to-day decisions.
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration skills to align deliverables across Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
• Practical understanding of search retrieval and ranking, with experience supporting business controls that balance user experience and revenue.
• Solid foundation in program health monitoring, risk mitigation, and performance tracking to ensure reliable execution.
• Ability to translate commercial needs into actionable project plans and technical requirements.
• Clear communication skills, adept at presenting data-driven insights to both technical and business partners.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
