Walmart seeks a Senior Manager, Data Science – Internalized Parcel Network Design & Strategy to design end-to-end parcel networks across fulfillment centers, hubs, and last-mile assets. You will develop optimization, simulation, and analytical models to optimize order flow and inform strategic investments.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Transportation, Engineering, Operations, Product, Technology, and Finance, leveraging AI to speed modeling and decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years' experience in an analytics related field.
• Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field.
• 7 years' experience in an analytics or related field.

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and advanced statistical methods to develop and validate complex models.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python and SQL for coding, testing, and deploying scalable data solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate insights across business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable analytics projects aligned with strategic objectives.
• Expertise in model assessment, tuning, and validation using industry‑standard metrics and best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams and guiding technical development in a collaborative environment.
• Solid understanding of business metrics and analytics to drive data‑informed decision‑making.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
