Job summary

Walmart Creative Studio is seeking a Senior Art Director to lead ideation and execution for seasonal Home campaigns, collaborating with the CD/ACD to deliver on-brand, customer-centric work across photography, video, and digital channels.

You will drive creative excellence from concept to delivery, working with cross-functional teams, and drawing inspiration from home and lifestyle trends, while leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance ideation and visualization.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 3 years' experience in editorial content management or related field OR 5 years' experience in editorial content management or related field.

As Senior Art Director, Home, you'll play a key role in the ideation and execution of seasonal initiatives and integrated campaigns that bring Walmart's brand to life. Partnering with the CD and ACD, you'll contribute insight-driven ideas and help create compelling campaigns that drive business results.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop work that is strategically grounded, customer‑centric, and consistently on brand. The ideal candidate combines conceptual thinking and visual storytelling with exceptional craft, organization, agility, and attention to detail. You'll help drive creative excellence from concept through execution while elevating the overall quality of the team's work.

About the team: Walmart Creative Studio (WCS) functions as the in-house creative agency, delivering innovative design systems and strategies that align with Walmart’s business goals. The team prioritizes customer experience across all channels and campaigns, providing insight-driven solutions that strengthen the brand and support growth. Emphasizing collaboration, creativity, and strategic thinking, WCS develops integrated brand experiences beyond traditional advertising. What you'll do...

• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, integrated campaign experience, and visual storytelling across multiple channels.
• Passion for home, interiors, and lifestyle, with an eye for creating aspirational, customer‑centric creative.
• Experience art directing photography and video productions from concept through post‑production.
• Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, Microsoft Office, Slack, and other collaboration tools.
• Curiosity and comfort exploring AI‑powered creative tools to enhance ideation, visualization, and creative workflows.
