Walmart Inc. invites a Senior Data Scientist to join the Media Insights team in Hoboken, NJ. You will build and deploy advanced statistical and ML models, source and validate cross-domain data, and create impactful visualizations for executive decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years’ analytics experience.
• Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, CS, IT, or related field and 1 year analytics experience.
• 5 or more years in analytics or related field.

By analyzing media performance, the team supports agencies, technology partners, and advertisers in enhancing strategies and driving growth. Utilizing advanced data analysis, statistical methods, and predictive modeling, the team transforms complex data into clear, market‑facing insights. Collaborating across functions, they ensure data quality and effective model deployment to support business decisions. This team plays a vital role in enabling data‑driven strategies that maximize value and impact for Walmart’s advertising partners.

What you’ll do:

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
