Walmart’s Inventory Decision Intelligence team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and deploy data-driven optimization and machine learning solutions for inventory management. You will lead model development from exploration to production, collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• 5 years' experience in analytics or related field.

• Design and implement optimization models and machine learning solutions that power automated decision-making across inventory management operations.
• Develop, test, and deploy scalable models using advanced statistical, machine learning, and mathematical optimization techniques.
• Identify and evaluate data sources aligned with business requirements and quality standards.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to support model development and decision logic design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business problems into decision-driven, data-informed solutions.
• Create clear data visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making.

Sunnyvale, California US-11658: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
