Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a maintenance technician in Oklahoma City to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including forklifts and conveyors. You will read technical drawings and troubleshoot complex issues to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or related coursework/certifications, with preferred CRMT or MCET credentials. This is an on-site position with comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment.
• Coursework or certification in industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical, mechanical automation, or related fields.
• Active industry-recognized certifications such as CRMT or MCET are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and other material handling gear.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to repair and maintain equipment.
• Change industrial batteries and maintain battery systems for power equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex problems where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious.

The hourly wage range for this position is $28.60 - $32.10* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
