Position Summary...

As a Produce Department Lead, you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will model expertise in Produce and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the members' expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Leader: Supervise the team in Produce and Floral areas to meet business goals and contribute to the success of the club. Communicate department goals, execute company programs, and uphold policies, advocating for members, associates, and the company.
2. Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations, ensuring the produce area meets standards for quality, inventory, sanitation, safety, and compliance. Manage seasonality, share knowledge, and train the team.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, enhance the shopping experience, and engage associates. Utilize handheld technology for real-time decisions and encourage adoption of new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Drive business results through operational excellence, proper staffing, accurate audits, and merchandise presentation, always prioritizing member service.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Train and develop team members, identify potential, and promote career growth. Collaborate with managers and partners to meet business needs, monitor progress, and improve processes.
