Position Summary...

As a Produce Department Lead, you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Produce and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Leader: Supervises the team in Produce and Floral areas to meet business goals and contribute to the club's success. Communicates departmental goals, executes company programs, and advocates for members, associates, and the company. Collaborates with other leaders to meet member expectations.
• Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of business operations, including quality, inventory, sanitation, safety, and compliance standards. Manages seasonality, collaborates with associates, and ensures resources are available for effective work.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve shopping experience, and engage associates. Utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions and promotes adoption of new tools.
• Be an Owner: Ensures operational excellence, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and meets staffing and compliance standards. Displays merchandise according to plans and models high levels of member service.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Trains and develops team members, encourages career growth, and recruits talent. Implements processes to meet business needs through collaboration, analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate integrity and respect: Upholds high standards of ethics, supports Walmart values, promotes a culture of belonging, and fosters trust and collaboration among team members.

The hourly wage range is $22.00 to $30.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage for the location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
