Position Summary
As a Produce Department Lead, you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will model expertise in Produce and collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets member expectations.
What you'll do
- Lead a Team: Supervise the Produce and Floral teams to meet business goals, communicate department objectives, and uphold policies while advocating for members, associates, and the company.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations, quality standards, inventory, sanitation, safety, and compliance. Manage seasonality and resource allocation. Share knowledge and train team members.
- Leverage Technology: Use digital tools to plan sales, enhance the shopping experience, and engage associates. Utilize handheld technology for real-time business decisions and encourage adoption of new tools.
- Operate as an Owner: Ensure operational excellence, maintain safety and cleanliness, and meet staffing and compliance standards. Display merchandise according to plan and model excellent member service.
- Develop Talent: Train and develop team members, identify potential leaders, and promote career growth. Recruit internally and externally to build a strong team.
- Collaborate and Lead: Develop and implement processes to meet business needs, analyze information, monitor progress, and address improvement opportunities. Lead teams, share resources, and adapt to change.

The hourly wage range is $22.00 to $30.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team
- Must be 18 or older
