A leading company in healthcare retail seeks a Pharmacy Manager in Illinois, responsible for providing patient care and overseeing pharmacy operations. The role includes managing sales, compliance, and budget while fostering a positive team culture and community engagement. Ideal candidates will possess a PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy, and a valid pharmacy license.
Provides comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and executing other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations. Drives sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, developing and maintaining cross-functional relationships, and assessing economic trends and demographics.
Models, enforces, and guides Associates on proper customer service approaches to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to be active community members. Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews, and implementing action plans.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including training, mentoring, and performance feedback, fostering a workplace culture of belonging. Maintains confidentiality of information and records as required by policies and regulations.
Manages pharmacy operations, conducts associate meetings, ensures operational alignment with regulations like HIPAA, and oversees inventory flow and financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting.
Creates a culture of patient safety and quality care, ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulations, and implementing improvements. Promotes compliance and audits to identify issues and ensure proper execution of billing, HIPAA, and SOPs.

The annual salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $197,000.00, with additional compensation for performance, location, and external factors.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
U.S. pharmacy-related experience.
