What you’ll do
  • Provides comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and administering other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes/regulations.
  • Drives sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting, and cross-functional relationship development; assesses economic trends and demographics.
  • Models, enforces, and provides direction to Associates on customer service approaches to resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues within Company guidelines.
  • Oversees community outreach programs and encourages Associates to serve as good community members.
  • Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas; analyzes reports; implements and monitors loss prevention and safety controls; oversees safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews; develops and implements action plans.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates; conducts training, mentoring, assigns duties, provides performance feedback, and promotes belonging in the workplace.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information and records as required by policy and law.
  • Manages Pharmacy Operations; conducts Associate meetings; aligns operations with HIPAA, SOP, QA policies and procedures; informs changes in products and procedures to Associates and Managers.
  • Oversees Inventory Flow; monitors and executes inventory processes; identifies issues and takes corrective action.
  • Manages Finances; interprets and analyzes financial data; manages budgets and ensures alignment with business strategy; reports on assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses.
  • Ensures quality patient care and safety; communicates expectations; ensures counseling and documentation for new therapies or items; identifies areas for improvement and implements corrective actions.
  • Promotes compliance execution; trains and guides processes for compliance initiatives; ensures HIPAA and SOP adherence; uses auditing to identify issues and implement improvements.
  • Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and fosters a culture of belonging; acts with integrity and serves customers and members with data-informed decision making.
Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

The annual salary range for this position is $112,000.00-$197,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and other location- or role-based incentives.
