Walmart seeks a store manager in Colorado who will lead teams, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive financial performance. This role requires a proven ability to develop staff, manage operations, and foster a positive workplace culture, offering competitive pay and benefits.
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, operational processes, and develops action plans to mitigate shrinkage and meet sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and fosters a workplace culture of belonging. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and building accountability. Identifies improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing guidance on business practices.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-related positions, successful completion of a background check and training is required. Applicants must attend and complete all required training programs.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, a Certificate in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
