Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, community outreach programs, and ensuring customer needs and complaints are addressed successfully. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and lead process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
Drives financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit & Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and setting clear expectations, fostering a workplace of belonging, and recruiting qualified staff to meet growth potential.
Coordinates and oversees activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, setting goals, building accountability, and measuring progress. Ensures compliance with policies, supporting the company's mission, values, and ethics, and promotes a culture of integrity and continuous learning.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 plus potential bonuses and location-based pay adjustments.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all relevant training and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Education such as a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, is preferred.
