A leading retail company is seeking a Store Manager who will lead teams, drive financial performance, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role involves developing associates, managing store operations, and implementing business solutions to enhance customer experiences. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing contributions, and ensuring diversity and inclusion. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities, develops relationships with stakeholders, supports plans to meet customer and business needs, and builds accountability for results. Promotes continuous learning and adaptability within the team.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00 plus differential, with potential additional compensation based on location and performance.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities selling only ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through the same programs. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
