A leading retail company is seeking a Store Manager to lead teams, manage financial performance, and enhance customer experience. This role involves training associates, overseeing operations, and driving business initiatives while ensuring a high-quality customer service standard. This role involves leading and developing teams through teaching, training, active listening, and providing feedback. Responsibilities include touring stores, communicating with associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, and leading business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The role also requires introducing and leading change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance, and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Additionally, the position involves managing store financial performance, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and operational processes. Developing associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing contributions is also essential. The role emphasizes building strong relationships, promoting diversity and inclusion, acting with integrity, delivering results focused on customer needs, and driving continuous improvement. The annual salary range is $65,000 to $80,000 plus additional compensation based on performance and location.
Requires 2 years of college; or 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; or 2 years general work experience with 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training is required. Candidates must attend and complete all required training and assessments.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
