Overview

Position Summary: What you'll do includes member service, maintaining the checkout area, resolving member issues, promoting Sam's Club products and services, guiding members regarding self-service technology, processing purchases, and handling payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for different membership and payment types. Follow safety standards and conduct safety sweeps as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service and maintain the checkout area
• Resolve member issues and concerns; promote company products and services
• Guide members regarding self-service technology; process member purchases
• Assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies
• Follow safety standards and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps
• Handle merchandise procedures; report unsafe situations to facility management
• Maintain entrance and exit areas; verify membership cards and identify member needs
• Assist members with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and arrange/organize merchandise
• Assist members with transporting items; maintain a safe shopping environment
• Review member receipts; assist with securing Sam's Club assets and property in line with company policies
• Maintain paperwork, logs, and required documentation; execute emergency response procedures
• Ensure compliance with security and safety practices
• Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates on processes and procedures; teach new technology and tool functionality
• Deliver new programs rollout training; provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities
• Maintain area of responsibility in accordance with policies by properly handling returns; identify shrink and damages
• Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics and integrity standards; apply Open Door Policy in business processes
• Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; prioritize, communicate progress, and address improvement opportunities

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may be paid in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, location, season) in addition to base pay.
