Position Summary...

What you'll do...

At Sam's Club, team members help ensure the store operates smoothly and serves members effectively by handling merchandise, assisting members, processing transactions, and supporting security and training efforts in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains area of responsibility in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Provides member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member, and identifying member needs; assists members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
• Provides member service in the self-checkout area by resolving member issues, promoting Sams Club products and services, guiding on self-service technology, processing member purchases, and assisting with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for different memberships and payment types.
• Assists with securing and safeguarding Sams Club assets by observing and communicating potential criminal activity, maintaining paperwork logs and documentation, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.
• Assists with training of Member Frontline Service associates on company processes, teaching new technology and tool functionality, delivering program rollout training, and providing continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy to executing business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to identify priorities and deadlines, communicate progress, and address improvement opportunities.
• Fosters an inclusive environment by respecting individuals, embracing differences, and helping associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
• Works as a team to build strong relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.

Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply in certain circumstances (e.g., $0.35 to $3.00 per hour) based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
