Position Summary
As a Meat Department Lead, you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will model expertise in Meat and collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Leader: Supervise the team within the meat department to meet business goals, communicate department objectives, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company. Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the overall success of the club.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations, product updates, and specifications. Ensure the meat department meets quality, safety, inventory, and compliance standards. Share knowledge, prioritize training, and engage with members to assist in protein selection.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan, drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for business decisions, training, and product quality, and promote adoption of new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, maintain operational excellence, ensure safety and cleanliness, and manage inventory and staffing effectively.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Train and develop team members, encourage career growth, and source new talent. Implement processes to meet business needs and improve operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months experience in a meat production department or supervising a team.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in meat processing, supervising associates, food safety certification, and knowledge of boneless and bone-in products are preferred.
