Job description

Position Summary...

We are looking for a skilled Flame compositor with experience in beauty and graphic compositing. The ideal candidate should be comfortable compositing shots, managing timelines, and QCing masters for final delivery. A strong technical understanding of the post-production workflow and experience at a VFX, Color, or Finishing studio are essential. The candidate should be adept at working in a fast-paced advertising environment, hosting clients, and managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Passion for design aesthetics and attention to detail are a plus. Resilience and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to leverage Walmart's scale to make an impact within the production community.

What you'll do...
  • Conform and deliver high-end television commercial spots for broadcast, web, and social media.
  • Composite motion and static graphics, beauty, and general set cleanup.
  • Collaborate with Motion Graphics and Editorial teams to ensure smooth asset flow for quick turnaround.
  • Manage offshore partners for tasks like rotoscoping and paint/prep, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Establish guidelines for work completed outside of Jandy Studio for future adaptations.
  • Foster a collaborative and inspiring studio environment, ensuring a positive client and team experience.
Basic Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Flame for compositing and timeline management.
  • Strong understanding of DaVinci Resolve and industry-standard color workflows.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and editorial workflows.
  • Basic knowledge of audio mixing workflows.
  • Technical knowledge of video specifications, including compression, resolutions, aspect ratios, and file formats.
  • Comfort with on-set data capture methods.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to achieve project goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with motion design and editorial teams.
  • Understanding of design concepts and typography.
  • Experience with advanced Flame workflows like 3D tracking and CG compositing.
  • Background in Marketing, Retail, or eCommerce industries.
Above and Beyond Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Nuke compositing.
  • Experience with real-time tools like Unreal and workflows involving real-time renders.
  • Interest in AI tools for expediting compositing tasks.
