Walmart seeks a landscaping supervisor to lead and support a team in maintaining high-quality outdoor environments. You will manage tasks from training associates to overseeing compliance with safety standards. This role involves hands-on gardening work and requires effective customer service skills.
Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools. Identifies customer needs and business priorities. Coordinates and executes work assignments. Provides advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved. Models and helps team members adapt to change or new challenges.
Supervises associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, providing feedback and follow-up, and monitoring performance. Teaches and supports company policies and procedures and ensures compliance. Participates in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, job shadowing, technician certification, and evaluation of associates.
Maintains quality and safety standards in the assigned area by ensuring equipment, tools, and supplies are in proper working order and available at each shift. Ensures associates are trained on logistics and company policies, monitors compliance, and maintains procedures and documentation.
Assigns and supports activities to ensure compliance with external rules and regulations (e.g., OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT). Serves as an expert in landscape management, managing areas using horticulture methods. Maintains garden beds, containers, and landscape plants.
Leverages technology (phones, tablets, laptops) to complete work orders and maintain records. Performs landscaping tasks such as cutting grass, weed management, and raking leaves. Applies planting and pruning techniques, and resolves pest/disease issues chemically.
Provides customer service by communicating with facility users, resolving issues, and ensuring work environments meet policies. Demonstrates and supports compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity. Uses the Open Door Policy.
Performs other facility-related maintenance duties as assigned. Demonstrates expertise, provides guidance, and supports business solutions by building relationships, monitoring progress, and recognizing improvement opportunities.
Models compliance with policies and supports company mission and values, including the Open Door Policy, and demonstrates how to apply these in business practices.

The hourly wage range is $26.00-$51.00, with potential premiums based on circumstances. Additional compensation may be provided in specific cases.
