Job description

Transform global sourcing at scale through AI-powered platforms.

About the International Product Management Organization

We’re the team driving product strategy and innovation across Walmart’s international businesses. As part of our Global Sourcing team, you’ll shape the future of how Walmart identifies, partners with, and sources from suppliers around the world — with impact at a truly global scale.

What you'll do...

What you’ll do:

As the Group Director of Product Management for Global Sourcing, you’ll lead the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution for sourcing technologies that touch every corner of Walmart’s global footprint. This role involves transforming Walmart’s operations using AI-first principles.

In this role, you will:

  • Own business outcomes— Drive measurable impact on revenue, margin, cost, trust, quality, and sustainability through tech and product innovation.
  • Set and communicate bold vision— Use insights to create and champion long-term product strategies that excite stakeholders.
  • Lead with data and empathy— Balance quantitative analysis with user research to make informed decisions.
  • Partner deeply with engineering— Speak the language of APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures.
  • Harness emerging AI/ML— Translate advanced AI techniques (e.g., LLMs, agents, vector search, MLOps) into meaningful product advantages.
  • Build and scale teams— Lead and mentor a large product organization (50+), shaping hiring, leveling, and culture.
  • Operate with discipline— Drive OKRs, reviews, and rhythms to deliver results while innovating.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience owning P&L or business performance metrics at scale.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with a track record of creating and executing long-term product vision.
  • Ability to engage cross-functional leaders from engineering to C-suite.
  • Deep understanding of modern tech stacks and building for scale and flexibility.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning applications in enterprise or platform settings.
  • Strong leadership and people development skills managing large teams.
  • Passion for systems that improve supply chain resilience, sustainability, and global product quality.

Why this role is different

This is a unique opportunity to reinvent how Walmart sources products. You’ll lead the creation of a modern, AI-powered platform that makes sourcing smarter, faster, and more responsible — impacting costs, customer experience, and sustainability goals.

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, health benefits (medical, vision, dental), 401(k), stock purchase, paid time off, and other benefits.
