Position Summary...
What you'll do...

Prepares and executes budgets by developing cost estimates on requested and planned projects. Approves purchases of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies. Provides technical assistance and consultation to facilitate purchases. Verifies receipt and acceptance of purchases.

Manages internal scheduled projects by determining work assignment priority. Plans work assignments, develops and maintains workforce needs, creates punch lists to document discrepancies, and ensures completion of projects and assignments. Sources, verifies, and approves material requisitions.

Gathers capital expenditure lists and develops scopes of work to update existing assets in assigned facilities, such as landscaping, snow-related events, case cleaning, shopping carts. Identifies other issues related to regular service.

Ensures compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart's safety policies and environmental guidelines. Controls costs by conducting price comparisons and submitting warranty claims. Completes and submits forms like expense vouchers and work orders.

Leads third-party providers through coaching and performance evaluations. Develops and directs quality assurance inspections. Troubleshoots and provides customer service by communicating with facility users to assess and resolve problems. Ensures work environments meet quality and safety standards.

Evaluates landscaping and facility needs, implements upgrades for sustainability, and assesses potential cost-saving improvements. Coordinates with support teams to standardize equipment and reduce stock. Ensures work meets quality and safety requirements.

Builds relationships with stakeholders, identifies business needs, and supports process improvements. Models compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity. Demonstrates expertise to develop and improve action plans, providing guidance and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs.

Respects individuals by fostering a culture of belonging, developing others, and building trust. Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards, following laws and policies, and being transparent. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00-$35.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual wage will meet or exceed applicable minimum wages.

Minimum Qualifications...
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid, state-issued driver’s license.
  • No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three years.
  • No more than two moving violations in the last three years if driving a commercial vehicle.
  • No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last three years if operating a commercial vehicle.
  • Able to complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification with at least a 90-day validity.
  • Ability to read and speak English as required by federal regulations.
Preferred Qualifications...
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related fields.
  • Certifications such as Certified Facilities Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or related.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors or contractors.
