Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Test Technician to execute testing activities that validate and verify both physical and digital medical products. In this role, you will work closely with Test Engineers to run test scripts, follow detailed test procedures, and document results across a wide range of products — including hardware devices, software applications, and connected systems.
This position is critical in ensuring products meet performance, quality, and regulatory expectations before they reach customers and patients.
Key Responsibilities
Test Execution
• Execute test scripts, protocols, and procedures created by Test Engineers to validate medical products.
• Perform testing on both physical hardware devices and digital software solutions, including mobile apps, embedded systems, and cloud-connected products.
• Operate in simulation environments to replicate real-world usage scenarios, including high-volume usage, network variability, and security conditions.
Test Documentation
• Accurately record test results, observations, defects, and anomalies in accordance with quality and regulatory guidelines.
• Work within test management tools and systems to track progress and report findings.
• Provide feedback to Test Engineers to support script or test procedure improvements.
Equipment & Environment Management
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test equipment, devices, and lab environments.
• Perform basic configuration of test systems including software installations, network connections, and hardware setup.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Participate in daily test team activities, stand-ups, and defect review meetings.
• Support investigations of test failures by capturing detailed logs, screenshots, or device traces.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electronics, Computer Science, Biomedical Technology, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test procedures.
• Experience working with both hardware and software products.
• Comfortable using computers, test equipment, and basic networking tools.
• Good networking background.
• Ability to clearly document test results and communicate findings.
Preferred:
• Experience testing in a regulated environment (medical devices, pharma, etc.).
• Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Basic understanding of network environments, security concepts, or device connectivity testing.
• Working knowledge on VPN extranet setup

Experience working with automated test systems or executing automated test scripts.
