Deliver at Scale
  • Lead large, complex, cross‑functional initiatives across multiple organizations.
  • Oversee the design and operation of highly available, distributed systems supporting Walmart's critical applications.
  • Drive platform modernization, automation, and cloud adoption initiatives.
Ensure Operational Excellence
  • Own the reliability, performance, and security of critical traffic infrastructure.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Establish and monitor key operational and engineering metrics.
What You'll Bring

  • Deep expertise in distributed systems, networking, and traffic management technologies.
  • Experience with Layer 4 and Layer 7 routing, load balancing, proxies, caching, and edge services.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, and cloud‑native architectures.

  • Working knowledge of modern programming languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or similar technologies.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, platform engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Experience building or operating high‑performance proxies, API gateways, CDNs, or service mesh technologies.
