Position Summary

Walmart is seeking a Director of GenAI Products to lead our innovative AI initiatives. This role involves developing and executing a vision for GenAI, building a high-performing team, and collaborating across departments to drive growth and transformation in digital advertising and retail solutions.

What you'll do

• Develop and scale the GenAI strategy with a comprehensive product roadmap.
• Embed GenAI automation into workflows to enhance productivity.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams across the organization.
• Work with top talent to build impactful AI products aligned with Walmart’s goals.
• Stay ahead of market trends and competitive landscape in AI-driven solutions.
• Establish KPIs and use data insights to optimize product performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9+ years in product management, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in building and scaling GenAI/AI products.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML, particularly Generative AI.
• Strong strategic, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Preferred experience in MarTech, AdTech, or Media sectors.

Location & Compensation

Locations: San Bruno, CA or Hoboken, NJ. Salary range: $156,000 - $338,000 plus bonuses and stock options.

Minimum Qualifications

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, plus 11 years’ experience in product management; or 13 years’ experience in a related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area, with 10+ years as a product manager, preferably in consumer-facing, large-scale B2B/C products. Supervisory experience and a background in creating accessible digital experiences following WCAG 2.2 AA standards are valued.
