As a Developmental Tech HVAC in our local retail store, you will work to perform routine maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, or fixtures under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, following established maintenance schedules and guidelines, inspecting, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.

What you'll do...

• Assist or perform all primary responsibilities under the supervision of an experienced technician.
• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.) and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system for reactive repairs and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Can move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Must maintain excellent driving record

Minimum Qualifications...

Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.
