Position Summary...

Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company market and local plans and tactics to direct the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in a facility facing challenges such as high turnover, engagement issues, inexperienced staff, and recruiting difficulties in a competitive market. Responsibilities include recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, succession planning, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset across organizational levels.

Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with associates, addressing concerns, researching issues, and ensuring consistent responsiveness and resolution. Ensures compliance with policies and regulations, manages relationships with officials, and oversees safety, asset protection, quality standards, and operational reviews. Leads community outreach programs, manages media interactions, and promotes the company's community and sustainability initiatives.

Drives financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, and analyzing economic trends. Implements process improvements, manages budgets, and assesses community needs. Ensures customer service excellence, merchandise presentation, inventory management, and store standards. Oversees training environments, develops strategies for workforce attraction and retention, and fosters an inclusive, ethical workplace culture.

Develops strategic partnerships, supports community involvement, and builds high-performing, diverse teams. Acts with integrity, maintains high ethical standards, and supports Walmart's values and sustainability efforts. Focuses on customer satisfaction, data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and technological adoption.

Offers competitive compensation, including salary, bonuses, benefits, and educational programs such as Live Better U. The annual salary range is $110,000 to $170,000 plus additional incentives based on location and performance.

Minimum Qualifications...

Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of management experience with financial accountability, supervising at least 50 nonexempt and 5 exempt associates, or 4 years of management experience with similar supervisory responsibilities. Additional requirements include successful completion of job-specific training and assessments, and for facilities selling firearms, a successful background check and firearms training.

Preferred Qualifications...

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, with experience as a Store Manager in a low or medium complexity store, or 2 years as a Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment, especially in grocery operations.
