Job description

Position Summary

This is a salaried position scheduled at 50 hours/week; however, during training, this position is paid at an equivalent hourly rate and scheduled 40 hours per week.

What you'll do
  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and providing feedback; communicate effectively across all levels; introduce and lead change initiatives; set clear expectations; and align team efforts with business objectives.
  • Model and uphold exceptional customer service standards; manage customer service initiatives; resolve customer issues; and lead process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Drive store financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; assist in budgeting and expense control; ensure effective merchandise presentation; and develop strategies to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and develop hourly associates; set expectations; recognize contributions; and ensure a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Coordinate activities with stakeholders; support business and customer needs; build accountability; and foster continuous improvement and learning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold ethical standards; support Walmart’s mission and values; and promote a culture of integrity and ethics.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of college; or one year of retail and supervisory experience; or two years of general work experience with supervisory experience. Additional requirements include completing all job-specific training and assessments.
