Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary: Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads change efforts, provides clear expectations, and implements business solutions. Models exceptional customer service standards, manages customer service initiatives, and ensures customer issues are resolved. Develops action plans to improve performance and customer experience. Drives financial performance by reviewing profit/loss statements, managing budgets, and ensuring sales and profit goals are met. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing staff. Ensures compliance with company policies, supporting Walmart’s mission, values, and ethics. Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and creates a culture of belonging. Acts with integrity, maintains high standards of ethics, and supports Walmart’s sustainability and community efforts. Delivers results by focusing on customer needs, making data-driven decisions, and encouraging continuous improvement and learning.

At Walmart, we offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, 401(k), stock purchase, paid time off, and education benefits through Live Better U. The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable legislative differential. Additional compensation may include regional pay zones and performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work and 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-related positions, successful completion of background checks and training is required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership, or certifications like ASE, and experience supervising multiple direct reports with performance management responsibilities.
