Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do:

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and providing feedback; communicate and collaborate with associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; lead change efforts; set clear expectations; and communicate business objectives effectively.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards; support customer service initiatives; resolve customer issues; develop improvement plans; and lead process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; manage budgets; monitor merchandise presentation, inventory, and operations; develop strategies to reduce shrink; and achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, mentoring; assign duties; recognize achievements; communicate expectations; foster a sense of belonging; and recruit qualified staff.
  • Coordinate activities by building relationships with stakeholders; support plans to meet customer and business needs; set goals; measure progress; identify improvement opportunities; and promote continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and support Walmart's mission, values, and ethics by implementing related action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years college or equivalent experience; or retail and supervisory experience; or general work experience with supervisory duties. For firearm-related roles, background checks and training may be required. All associates must complete required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership or related certificates; experience supervising teams of five or more; performance management, mentoring, hiring, firing experience.
